Sarah is our Education and Employment Co-Ordinator at YES.
After becoming interested in the Disability Sector as a Teacher Aide, Sarah stepped well and truly out of her comfort zone by becoming a mature student and completing her Primary Teaching Degree. From university, Sarah began her career as a Special Education Transition Teacher, which opened her eyes to the lack of post school employment opportunities available for young adults with disabilities and learning differences. This was the motivation behind the Project Employ web series that she is very proud to have produced.
Since joining YES in 2020, Sarah has been involved in some amazing projects such as the Pacific Education Support Programme and Disability Awareness.
