Who are we?

YES comprises of a team of skilled individuals, passionate about providing effective information, support and services to disabled youth and learning differences, their families / whanau, and other organisations and groups within the sector.

Ella Smith, National I.Lead Committee Secretary

Ella is the National Committee Secretary, and has also been a member of the Auckland Regional Committee since late 2024.

She is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, and loves to dance in her free time.

Ella has Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, is passionate to use her experiences, both good and bad, to help other disabled youth wherever she can. She is especially passionate about mental health, healthcare and the arts and is looking forward to continuing her journey with I.Lead.
