Jade is New Zealand-born of Cook Island/Italian heritage, based in Auckland, and is a proud Father to a young daughter. His whānau and strong family values play a huge role in Jade’s good life.
As a member of the National Enabling Good Lives Leadership Group, Jade has contributed to the expansion of the Enabling Good Lives approach across the social services sector for 10+ years. He was promoted to Chair of the group 4 years ago. He currently leads the NASCA interface and co-leads the Pacific Portfolios.
Jade is a professional director of significant governance experience with a portfolio of roles focused on the advancement of disabled people. His contributions as a director with lived experience of disability are enhanced by his work and experience in communications, customer engagement and by contributing to the detailed implementation of the EGL approach at all levels.
An accessible Aotearoa for everyone is what drives Jade in his work.
